Winners

ATA Awards

As Education Director of Manhattan Theatre Club since 1988, he has designed and implemented a range of programs that annually serve 5,000 students, teachers, and families in the New York City area and around the nation. He helped found and currently chairs the New York City Arts in Education Roundtable and, as if that wasn't enough, he's also this year's recipient of The Golden Administrator Award for Distinguished Service to Teaching Artists and the Arts in Education Field.

He's David Shookhoff and he's terrific.

You can find him here.

But, wait!

There's more.

This year's recipient of the Distinguished Service to The Arts In Education Field Award is Holly Adams.

Ms. Adams is a professional performer, playwright, mask maker, and Teaching Artist for twenty-five years, she's been a Teaching Artist for 13 years in NYSCA's Empire State Partnership program. She also did a "comic version of "Titus Andronicus" with juniors and seniors, which is an amazing feat for so many reasons we cannot start to name them.
